The # 1 New York Times bestselling sequel to Sarah J. Maas' spellbinding A Court of Thorns and Roses. Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court--but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms--and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future--and the future of a world cleaved in two. With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights
To say that I loved this book would be an understatement. It was so amazing and so well written. Spoiler alert coming up beware. So after I read book 1 I was completely in love with Tamlin and thought Rhys was just a complete dick and that he was definitely evil. I did not see what book 2 had in store for me coming at all!!! Rhys totally turned out to be someone completely different. Everything he did he had a reason for and throughout the book it is revealed and I was amazed how this was quickly turning into a beautiful love story amongst the evil Lords and creatures. How Sarah J. Maas was able to get me from loving Tamlin to hating him and hating Rhys to absolutely falling in love with him is beyond me. The sexual tension between Feyre and Rhys was seriously killing me at one point. At the very end I was shocked and I literally felt like I was shaking and could barely read the words in fear of what was going to happen. May can't come soon enough, I can't wait for book 3 to be released!
