Review ~ After The Storm by Faith Andrews ~ JMAC

Noah and Willow know not to mix business with pleasure. They've both been burned in the past, he thinks she's too young, and she definitely shouldn't hook up with her boss. So, they don't. Instead, they build a friendship, while fighting an obvious attraction.

But when Noah's called back East after a natural disaster that threatens his home and the loved ones he left behind, he's forced to face his past with Willow by his side.

Will their turbulent pasts hold them back from giving into fate? Or will the two of them realize that they've been each other's calm before the storm?

I really enjoyed After the Storm by Faith Andrews.   Noah is Willow’s boss, and though he finds Willow attractive, his past makes him never want to be serious with anyone ever again.  Noah keeps telling himself that he can’t be with Willow because she works for him and he doesn’t want to cross that line with her.  Willow has been infatuated with Noah since she was hired.  Noah, with his charm, sexiness, and dirty mouth is enough to make any females panties melt.  GOD HE’S SO HOT.
Both Noah and Willow try hard to fight the burning attraction they have for each other, until one day they don’t.  They are so perfect once they give in to each other, but Willow can’t help but think she’s not and never will be enough for Noah.  They both have gone, and continue to go through things that cause doubt, anger, and sadness within their relationship.
After The Storm is the story of learning to accept your past, and understanding that you do deserve to be loved.  Faith did a great job with writing this story.  I was locked in from page one, and didn’t stop until I finished it.  I will definitely be reading more of Faith’s books.  After the Storm had me laughing, crying, and feeling everything in between.  Such a great book!
