Review - This is Falling - Ginger Scott - Rebecca

First, I had to remember how to breathe. Then, I had to learn how to survive. Two years, three months and sixteen days had passed since I was the Rowe Stanton from before, since tragedy stole my youth and my heart went along with it.
When I left for college, I put a thousand miles between my future and my past. I’d made a choice—I was going to cross back to the other side, to live with the living. I just didn’t know how.
And then I met Nate Preeter.
An All-American baseball player, Nate wasn’t supposed to notice a ghost-of-a-girl like me. But he did. He shouldn’t want to know my name. But he did. And when he learned my secret and saw the scars it left behind, he was supposed to run. But he didn’t.
My heart was dead, and I was never supposed to belong to anyone. But Nate Preeter had me feeling, and he made me want to be his. He showed me everything I was missing.
And then he showed me how to fall.

5 stars

I absolutely adore Ginger Scott's writing.  She has a phenomenal style and I love reading what she comes up with.  She's quickly moved up to being one of my favorite authors!

Here's how faveski she's become...
So she posts on her page on Thursday, 9/4/2014 that she's at a location and a reader can go out and find her for a signed prize.   It was an hour away, but dagnabbit, I love this book AND HWDWG so darn much, I had to run!

... and guess what?   We totally met her! :D   She is SO FREAKING SWEET which only adds to her awesomeness.   Yes, totally a sidenote pimpage, but any author who not only writes well, but is sweet as can be and takes the time for her readers ranks high in my book -- totally pun intended!

"This is Falling" is such a good read -- great flow, great story, characters you can completely enjoy throughout.  The story is absolutely beautifully written and it's one I'd recommend to everyone.  It's a beautiful romance between someone so torn and broken and someone who is able to see past all of that and not only tear down her walls she's built, but find a way to fit into her life -- just as it is.

Another thing that made me totally *swoon* (Did I publicly swoon?  OMG I SWOONED!  I'm SWOONING at a book and loving it!) is the supporting characters.  I cannot WAIT to read the next book and see how their dynamic plays out.  I may or may not have considered grabbing the laptop they were currently being worked on and running, but my prego waddle wouldn't have gotten me very far, I'm certain.

You should know by now I'm not one to drop spoilers, but definitely do yourselves a favor and go out and pick this one up!  Right now!  I promise you if this book can make me truly enjoy a romance story, it's a keeper! :)
